Featured Composers: Join us for an extraordinary evening of avant-garde music as we celebrate the 28th anniversary of the New Music Miami Festival (NMMF). The NODUS Ensemble, FIU's contemporary music group, will bring to life the innovative and diverse works of FIU Wertheim School of Music alumni composers, including Jeff Herriott, Emmanuel Berrido, Federico Bonacossa, Jorge Villavicencio Grossmann, Pablo Chin, Darwin Aquino, and Paul Poston, in a special concert that promises to inspire and captivate.
Featured Performers: This year’s festival will mark the return of alumna soprano Evelyn Saavedra, who will perform alongside fellow NODUS Ensemble members.
