The 3rd ICTM Conference emphasizes new understanding of disease pathogenesis, along with innovative breakthroughs in the surveillance, detection, diagnosis, treatment, and control of global health problems involving tropical and emerging infectious diseases. The program focuses on modern approaches to emerging infections and neglected tropical diseases. Topics range from climate change to gene amplification and microfluidics to breakthroughs in vaccine development. Presentations include the perspective of clinicians, radiologists, pathologists, microbiologists, parasitologists, as well as policy and decision makers. The list of speakers include world-renowned experts from USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia who will provide insight into the state of the art in tropical and emerging infections and include representatives from NIH, PAHO, CDC, DoD, USAID, USUHS, and PHS.
