Art Miami 2017 – DEEP SEE Project
December 5, 2017 - December 10, 2017
Art Miami 2017 has invited the MiART Foundation to present the DEEP SEE project, a special exhibition at the fair Dec. 5-10, 2017.
Deep See Project
Curated by Carol Damian
The Deep See project seeks to leverage the power of art as a means of communication to heighten awareness about climate change, marine safety and conservation, and sea level rise. The installation serves as a platform for artists and organizations dedicated to the sea. Sponsored by the MiART Foundation, Tina Spiro, Edouard Duval-Carrie and Jacek Kolasinksi, and Barry Fellman, four prominent environmentally engaged artists with deep ties to Miami, have joined forces to address the awesome power and fragility of the sea, the origin and necessity of life on earth.
LOCATION: One Herald Plaza at NE 14th Street On Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami Between the Venetian & MacArthur Causeways.
