Fourth Annual Robot Competition
December 1 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm| Free
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Career and Talent Development Department, and the IEEE club at Florida International University (FIU) are pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th Annual Engineering Orientation Competition. This contest showcases how ECE students engage in realistic hands-on projects from the initial stages as freshmen. It also creates awareness about CAPS for students who are ever in need of counseling. The event provides an opportunity for students to learn and connect with Career and Talent Development, a wonderful department to help with planning their professional future. Lastly, the IEEE club offers engineering students a unique opportunity to engage in fun activities closely related to the engineering profession.
This year’s topic was inspired by IEEE’s SoutheastCon Hardware competition: “Avast, Me Hearties”. Watch the robots race to get the treasure chest on Friday, December 1st.
