The Radical HIVE: Social Housing Experiments in South America Symposium

The Radical HIVE is an exhibition and symposium focused on social housing projects built in Latin America from the mid-twentieth century to the present, tracing their roots in the post-war work of CIAM and Team 10. The exhibition will include models and materials documenting approximately 30 international housing projects. Those materials will form the backdrop to our discussion of the challenges and opportunities inherent in building affordable, accessible urban housing today.

Speakers include: Margi Northard, Francisco Liemur, Umberto Bonomo, Patricio del Real, and moderators Eric Goldemberg and Marilys Nepomechie.
