Blackboard Learn: Essentials for Instructors

New to Blackboard Learn? This workshop is a hands-on introduction to building and using a Blackboard Learn course. You will experience a Learn course first as a student and then build a course as an instructor. Emphasis is on navigating the learning management system, configuring the Course Menu, creating content areas, choosing and adding tools to your course, and working with the Control Panel for instructors. Blackboard Learn: Grade Center and Student Monitoring

This workshop is for any faculty member who wants to learn how to use the Grade Center and student performance monitoring tools in Blackboard Learn. It encompasses basic navigation, organization and grade calculations in the Grade Center, including the handy Needs Grading feature. VoiceThread: Demo

The first hour will demo VoiceThread features. Participants will discover the options to create, share and comment using media content (lectures, images, documents, videos, spreadsheets, etc.) as the center of a virtual conversation. Optionally, stay after the demo if you would like to create a VoiceThread in a hands-on setting. Bring your own content!
