Join FIU SEAS and Frost Science’s MUVE (Museum Volunteers for the Environment) as we remove invasive vegetation from our new Batchelor Environmental Center restoration site on the Biscayne Bay Campus, to begin restoring the land to a native mangrove and hardwood hammock forest. The invasive vegetation consists primarily of Burma reed, Australian pine, and Brazilian pepper. All tools and gloves will be provided.

3rd Saturday of every month.

NEW IDH 3034 SUMMER 2018 COURSE

 We have an exciting new course for Summer 2018! PhotoVoice as Community Engagement is An Honors College course in collaboration with The FIU Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center and it is a GL-designated course that counts toward students’ GL graduation requirement. An informational session for prospective students will be taking place January 23, 2018, at 3:30 PM. The meeting will be at The College of Business Complex 232. You will have a chance to meet the instructors and to ask questions. Please RSVP ylopezre@fiu.edu  Thank you.
