LEAD Series: Leveraging LinkedIn

The LEAD Series is designed for FIU students seeking to build and strengthen their core leadership skills, while working on professional development and gaining personal enrichment. Each workshop will be hosted by successful alumni and supporters of the university who are invested in seeing our current students become strong community leaders. Students will gain interpersonal, networking, career and proper etiquette skills.  This event is FREE to all FIU students and alumni and is presented by your FIU Alumni Association. Please note seating is limited and RSVP is a must.

Leveraging LinkedIn: You have a profile, you are following companies and joined some groups. But how are you taking advantage of LinkedIn to engage your connections, expand your network, and create new professional relationships and opportunities? Through this interactive workshop, hosted by Maria Tomaino, Associate Director of FIU Alumni Career Services, participants will learn how to maximize LinkedIn and develop social media engagement behaviors that will take their networking to the next level. Bring your laptops or tablets to make on the spot changes.
