The last film of the FIU SAAM Film Festival, “The Mask You Live In” follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while navigating America’s narrow definition of masculinity. The event will be in the FIU MMC Housing Quad. Hosted by It’s On Us and the Healthy Living Program.

SAAM Film Festival: Disfluency Screening


The third film of the FIU SAAM Film Festival, Disfluency, a short-film that shines a light on the ubiquity of rape culture and the aftermath of rape itself. At the end of the film, It’s On Us will facilitate a dialogue about the content of the film and how students, faculty, and staff can come together to end violence on our campuses. The film will begin promptly at 2:10PM, snacks and light beverages will be provided. Hosted by It’s On Us and the Healthy Living Program.
